Performing Arts Workshop (Years 3 to 6)

A brand new Workshop led by our enthusiastic drama team

This is a brilliant way to experience the excitement of performance arts - This Holiday Club theme will be Roald Dahl's 'The BFG'.  We explore ideas such as space awareness, improvisation (vocal and movement) and self confidence.  During the day you will also be creating props & set design and learning our lines for a final performance at the end of the day.

Activity Details

The Shine performance arts group will be guided through a range of activities throughout the day.  A typical day will start off with them participating in ice breaking activities/games.  After break they will start the main activity of building up their character or performance based on the theme for the day.  After lunch they will then create props and set designs for the end of day performance.

Children will get the opportunity to enjoy themselves through a wide range of different activities during the day, including;

  • Your child/children must be signed out at the end of every day.
